Assegid Habtewold (Dr.) is the Founder and Chairman of PRO Leadership Global Inc. He is also the owner, and lead consultant, coach, facilitator at Success Pathways. Recently, Assegid published a book entitled "Redefining Leadership: Navigating the Path from Birthright to Fulfillment in Life!" Assegid is also pursuing Doctor of Strategic Leadership at Regent University Virginia Beach, VA USA. His major is Global Consulting and he is in his final year. He also earned Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Addis Ababa University (AAU), Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from HiLCoE, and Master's in Computer Science from University of Northern Virginia. He also earned certificate in advanced studies in Strategic Leadership. Assegid has a diverse professional experiences. Following his graduation from AAU, he had been working as a Research Assistant at an International Research Institute until he came to the US in 2005. Until he started his study on leadership, he had been working as an IT professional for his former school and a multinational Semi-conductor company. Assegid's passion for leadership started well before he joined AAU, when he and his colleagues formed a youth association in his home town- Harar. He became the chairman until he left for AAU. While at AAU, he was the President of AAU Students' Union and had been serving his fellow students at AAU. After graduation, he had been also helping the democratization process in Ethiopia where he was serving as Vice-Chairman of Research Dept. of a major party. Using his spare time, Assegid has been serving some churches and non-profit organizations. He has been also mentoring leaders from non-profit and small businesses. Assegid would like to continue serve in this area. Another area where Assegid is passionate about is reading and writing. Thanks to the technology, he has been sharing his thoughts to his online friends on topics like leadership, inspiration, and spirituality.
